I had one young women who said she just wanted the free pregnancy test and not counseling-she got it anyway. She told me she was Lilith and giving her baby to her god. She had on a chain with a weird crystal that kept glowing off and on. I remember thinking I should be scared, but I felt God with me and wasn't. Later it hit me and I was shaken. Our CPC director talked with me and gave me some books to read on spiritual warfare. It really opened my eyes to a lot of things.
What was the book?
“She told me she was Lilith and giving her baby to her god. She had on a chain with a weird crystal that kept glowing off and on.”
I think someone was playing with your head. They think that’s funny, too. They’re sick people.
The name given is the same demon to which OT Isaiah 34:14 is also translated as Screech owl. She is associated with desolate desert places and also called the night hag. She is also associated as a demon that murders children.
I don’t know all the implications, but the number of instances where others have referenced the name with implied knowledge, they also gave a strong impression of worshiping the occult or witchcraft.
An amulet doesn’t protect, but faith in Christ is the first appropriate solution as God provides for all and all things that were created were created by Him. He has authority over them and they fear the consequences of their behavior and thinking before Him. Placing trust in an amulet is likely to act as a beacon for demonic attraction.
