Obviously, you didn't watch much past Season 1. Totally agree. The characters on Enterprise actually behaved like the rest of us flawed humans, faced personal demons, etc. I've enjoyed each series as excellent escapism but Enterprise, for me, was by far the most realistic.

I've enjoyed each series as excellent escapism but Enterprise, for me, was by far the most realistic. Indeed. I did not watch it at first run but watched after it was cancelled. DVR is a wonderful thing.
That series kicked arse. Better than the rest. The episode "In a Mirror, Darkly" from Season 4 was the very best Star Trek I have ever seen.
