There used to be a lone male wolf who would show himself in the parking lot of the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor’s Center in Juneau, Alaska. The locals called him Romeo and some people would take their bitches (dogs) in heat for him to service. One guy took his beagle up there, and it ended up as Romeo’s dinner. Someone finally killed the wolf and everyone freaked out - lots of stories on the web about this.
