Yep, another potentially dangerous breed. I once witnessed a single Chow attack the female owner. The male Chow grabbed her by the side, then her arm and pulled her to the ground. Her husband was close by and rescued her using a two by four on the dog. Oddly, they said the dog was upset because there was a bitch in heat in a nearby yard.
I worked 20 years in a service industry and have been in thousands of people’s backyards.
There were only two instances where I wasn’t able to bluff my way past barking, growling dogs. Both times they were Chows.
