Will we be able to unlatch a finger nail to hook up an OBD code reader if we’re not feeling well?

Os by Microsoft...will attempt to reboot your system after every update...When you don’t keep licensing update, penalties become...severe.

“deliver drugs within the body”

I don’t think so-no thanks, no way-aside from the Borg references, has anyone here read “This Perfect Day” by Ira Levin?

There is a webisode series on Youtube called “H+”. The H+ nano started as a micro-computer that tracked all your vitals, reporting dangerous medical conditions to doctors before it killed you. Then it expanded to a neural web interface. Next came the computer virus.
A computer in the body becomes a tempting target for hackers. If they have viruses to hold your data hostage for money, imagine the potential for saying, “Give us money or we’ll kill you through your implant.”

The tiny biodegradable devices could detect changes in the environment, deliver drugs within the body or even destroy potentially cancerous cells.

Am I the only one creeped out by this? If the government ever got hold of this kind of power it would make bio-warfare look like "paddy-cakes" on the play ground.

Logan's Run, 1984, and Brave New World all rolled up in a nice tidy package! Hello, we're here from the government and we're here to help you...

They could put a little "air freshener" in the AC duct and drop your IQ by 20 points to make you more tractable and easier to manage. They could extinguish a rebellious nature before it could attract embarrassing attention. They could induce anyone to become the "perfect citizen" or just erase him completely. They could program the entire population to die at an appropriate age (eliminating pension underfunding) and arrange your memories so that you'd never notice that something strange was going on.

I, for one, do not think we are ready to possess such power, it will not end well!

Regards,
GtG
