Somebody asked, “Why didn’t they take the town”? Maybe they still will. But my cynical answer is that the prison is a cheaper location to shoot than the town.

Dunno about that but I’d choose the prison as well. Easier to defend against walkers and democrat Governors.

Yes. I guess even if the governor gets killed, there will always be others. On the other hand, there’s probably a lot of food at the town. And maybe over time they can get that fence built, and then build houses for people in the inner courtyard.

It would be like the feudal societies, which is pretty much a good model to use.

What they need is a prison on a river to spread out from. A nuke plant would do equally well since they are naturally secure and located near bodies of water usually. Water wheels are ancient. Herschel or Carol could figure that out. Feudal is a good point though.

A nuclear plant would be great, if it was still functional. They’d have power for year. A hydro-electric dam would actually be good as well, they usually have large interior space, and only two approaches that are easy to see. But there are not that many of them.

I felt like their prison was pretty close to water though.

One other point about this show — when Carl was pointing his gun at the boy, and they had told the boy to DROP HIS WEAPON, and the boy wouldn’t drop the weapon, and instead just kept walking toward him, I was yelling “Shoot him”. Because I knew that kid could swing his gun up and shoot them both at any moment.

If someone points a gun at you and says “drop your weapon”, you drop it, or you die.

LOL, oh I agree. If I was Carl’s Dad I would have been giving him a medal to wear on his cowboy hat. Herschel needs to grow a pair and do his part so Carl doesn’t have to do all the killing. Shotgun not dropped then fair for Carl to drop him. Herschel needs to man up and Rick needs to quit the mushrooms.

Herschel occasionally channels his inner-Dale and its annoying.

I can't believe Glen and Maggie got engaged before the big showdown and neither got killed. That breaks all the rules of television.

I used to not like Carl, but now he's the badass everybody else wishes they were.

Where the hell is Morgan?

And why don't the last two guys with the Governor shoot him?

I was certain that when Glen took off his helmet, some sniper was going to shoot him. But then I remembered I wasn’t watching a Joss Whedon film.

Glen needs to spend more time at the range. He’s an awful shot.

Of course she knows, Merle told her when he kidnapped her and Daryl coming to stop Merle let her know that Rick and/or the group changed their minds. That’s why she went back to the prison after Merle let her go.

Otherwise, she would have just loped on down the road and been done with the whole sorry mess.

” Michonne could have struggled with a changed Andrea, and ended up a biter herself.”

Just wondering...do most people call them biters or do they call them walkers? This is prime territory for a future thread. I prefer walker, as biter seems so...judgmental /s

You don’t like the crossbow? I’m fine with it, but Michonne and her katana are one mean combination.

As much as I like Daryl and his crossbow, Michonne is able to effortlessly lop off those walker heads and not have to worry about ammo.

I thought a sniper was going to get Rick when he was walking around on the Prison. A sniper out in the trees could pin them down big time.

“Actually, I heard it as the revolver—not brass.”

The sound wasn't “heavy” enough for it to have been the revolver. Brass makes a distinctive sound when hitting concrete.

Andrea will show up next season as a “Liberal Walker” in that she only eats Conservatives.
