You are completely correct.
Last night was the monthly pack meeting, and the Boy Scout Troop my son will be joining came to show the Cub Scouts about camping skills such as setting up a tent and starting a fire. My son loved it. He’s already been on several camping trips as a Cub Scout, and he’s had a blast hiking, fishing, and shooting (BB guns and archery).
That’s great. Boy Scouts is such an excellent organization.
I agree!! and I look forward to my son getting the benefits that they have to offer...Respect, compassion, reverence, etc...
Good thing that neighbor friend came along to tell you about it, and get your son involved, then. Praise God. Best wishes to your son.
Higher up the chain would be the district level then the council level. The troop is probably affiliated with the Coastal Empire Council which you can easily find on the web doing a search. The council website has a tab for the Districts; there are 3 districts in this council, your son’s troop should be in one of those three districts.
Thank you so much to all who helped. He got everything he needed for camp with the exception of one item for his first aid kit, and that is CPR barriers.
You all are awesome and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the kindness. Cody just left for school...he came home yesterday so excited about his first campout. He told me to make sure and tell you all “Thank you so much! You all are so nice and I’m very happy that you would be willing to help me get what I needed to get to camp”
Thanks again all!! God Bless!
