Yeah, if marriage matters so much, where were all these “pro-marriage” groups when traditional marriage was destroyed with no fault divorce laws? The horse has been dead for decades, you can stop whipping it now.

“The government recognizes but does not create marriage.”
The government disagrees. In my opinion the reason so many accept impossibilities like ‘gay marriage’ is because they have been conditioned to think that marriage comes from and is defined by the state. They buy into it simply because the state says or potentially says it is possible, judges, pols, or the voting majority decided or can decide it can, many states actually had popular votes to keep the state from redefining how it looks at marriage.

Republicans better start breaking Anderson's fingers. This guy is ruining the next chance of “victory” at the polls by countering the meme that the only those opposed to homosexual “marriage” are “idiotic” Bible Thumpers.

This argument was lost the day people let big brother unconstitutionally sanction marriage and transfer wealth from single people to married people. The lesson ya’ll need to take away from this is to be much more careful who you let do favors for you. It’s a little late to be complaining about the strings big brother attached to that favor.
