This was one of 10 of this firearm’s 30-round capacity magazines at the scene, Sedensky explained. More ammunition for the Glock and a Sig Sauer P226 9 mm handgun was also found. Three such magazines still contained 30 rounds. There were six more magazines nearby — three of them were empty, while the others had 10, 11 or 13 live rounds in them.

It would seem, though, that many journalists and some police in certain kinds of jurisdictions would sometimes try to imply that a murderer was somehow politically active for, or at least contributing to support our Second Amendment—not a likely activity for murderers or other violent criminals in most cases.
The guy was nuts. Extremely nuts. It amazes me that anyone would try to figure out the motivations and thought processes of a seriously insane person. Their dissociation from reality, by definition, precludes coming to rational conclusions about their thinking.

We haven’t seen the official crime scene reports from the CT state bureaucracy and probably never will. All numbers are conjectured and meaningless media speculation. The crime scene doesn’t fit the lone white male right wing militia template, so you will never hear the truth. It’s the gun grabbing that counts. Lanza was aided and abetted by left wing policies.
