My last bike was a ‘72 Norton 850 Commando. Pure fun, but it was just waiting out in the garage for a chance to kill me.
I sold it to a guy who was gathering up Limey bikes in the Midwest to take back to Australia. He said nearly 75 percent of 50s-60s-70s bikes from England went to the US and folks Down Under were a good market for rebuilders.
