The “sewer system shooter”. I have heard that it is now standard procedure for the SS advance team to weld all manhole cover shut in the vicinity of any presidential appearance. I don't know if they do it on long parade routes, but they may.

There is a storm drain on the side of the road at the curb. This is where they say the shot, although impossible in angle, hit Kennedy.
