i will definitely check it out. Have you by chance any music composed by St Hildegard von Bingen? Sequentia, Taperstry and the Anonymous 4 have some simple beautiful CD’s as does Richard Souther. Vision: The Music of Hildegard von Bingen, sung by the lovely Emily van Evera.

I have only recently discovered this type of music. It truly speaks to my inner spirit. I am sure the release you mention will do the same. Thank you.

Lovely.

In the mountains above Ephesus, Selçuk, Turkey, according to legend, lies the last home of the Virgin Mary; the last abode of the Virgin Mary who St John brought to nearby Ephesus towards the end of her life (AD 37-45).

It's a very peaceful place, that feels holy and sacred. Many caves dot the mountain, supposedly the place of the Seven Sleepers.

It is interesting that the Qur'an also repeats the legends that crisscross with Christian legends from this fascinating place.

Thanks for the link. What a funny coincidence to see this post. I also just recently got into this wonderful music. During all the Pope-mania I started reading about the lives of some of the saints and discovered Hildegard von Bingen. I’m a diehard Scottish Presbyterian, but I have always admired the pageantry and music of the Catholic Church.
