I'm an excellent (old-fashioned) cook. I seldom make chicken as it's a meat that lost its flavor decades ago. That's why today people like it best when it's barbecued, loaded with crust, marinaded, or dipped in every kind of sauce imaginable.

A chef will tell you that any meat is more flavorful with bone-in. Pork roast is a case in point. A boneless pork roast is blah.

I use marrow bones in my homemade soup for added flavor. Dem bones, dem bones....oh, hear the word of the Lord.

C'monna my house and I'll show you some real cookin'.

Younger people do not know why there would be bones in the chicken I guess. They probably do not know this comes from an animal.

In the future it won't be. KFC, along with McDonalds, is probably chomping at the bit for when "chicken" will be molecularly fabricated in the lab and then mass produced. No more "animals".
