This might show why he’s anti-gun. He knows how irresponsible he is and assumes everyone else is a dangerous drunken pervert like he is.
He still has political career - and a bright one at that. He needs only to move to San Francisco, Providence, Key West or a few other places. An incident like this can only help in some of these places.
The only reason this story is getting any coverage is that the mayor is a Republican.
