Just a guess, but do a Youtube search of Ennio Moricone music. He writes for movies, but he is a classical composer at heart. Once Upon A Time In The West is a classical sounding piece from a Western Movie!

BTW, did the piece feature an oboe?

And funny enough, come to find out from misterioso, Carnival of the Animals/Aquarium was used in a movie where Ennio Morricone did the themes, Days of Heaven. Don't know the movie or that soundtrack, but thought I would share that piece of trivia with you.
