This is why you should pack extra underwear when visiting Austria

You would think that something that was "jaw dropping, high-speed, and brakeless" wouldn't be "terrifying" but "nevertheless" I guess it turns out to be just that.

As Gomer Pyle might say "Surprise, surprise, surprise."

#1, Why does every video now ask whether homo marriage should be legal?

#2, I saw this on a different video and it looks like it has a brake handle between your legs.

#3, I’d ride it.

I would put brakes on them that only work the first time before making a snapping sound and don’t work again.

Wow — that is dangerous. It wouldn’t take much for someone to mess with that track and then there would be two of you.

“What could possibly go wrong”?

Cool video, but it ended before I got to see what would be the most interesting part to me: the braking at the end of the ride. How do they slow it down? Brick wall, hay bales, what?

Good question ... maybe a gradual upslope of the track and let gravity do the work?

Here is a nicer video and longer video of thei ride. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DS28iU_vnMM

Also the cars do have a hand brake as you can see in the video. They also allow multiple cars to descend right behind each other. I would not be surprised if there are rear-end collisions? Cost was $15 in 2011.
