It’s a silly proposition that will subject the person who thought it was a clever idea to total ridicule and get him unelected, just like Todd Akin. So if you want to stop abortion, then it makes perfect sense to support a candidate who excludes himself from electability by making goofy statements. This puts his opponent into office.
