Foxnews Advice to Citizens on Events Like the Boston Bombing [Vanity on segment]
Vanity | 4/20/2013 | Self

Posted on 04/20/2013 6:20:09 AM PDT by PieterCasparzen

Fox news has their medical guy on a little segment a few minutes ago, "on the couch", I guess it was Saturday morning fox and friends.

The guy's big advice for everyone:

a) Think of the "positives". What does he list as the positives ? The surgeons, the government's first responders, the police, etc. He says to focus on the heroics of people working for the medical community and the government. Not once did he say anything about individual citizens who were not part of the machinery of state. His comments suggest that everyone should be cheering on the implementers of the city-wide Boston lockdown, where civilians were ordered off the streets.

b) Get back to normal. Go on about your business.

Now, is that not propaganda aimed at exactly what I spoke of in my post yesterday, or what ?

Tinfoil is all I hear, tinfoil, tinfoil.

But somehow when you get into the details of every script on TV, whether it's news, entertainment or the mixture we so often see, it's all subtly marching everyone in the direction of obedience to the police state.

I hear a lot of people cheering on the police state, often the same people who say how stupid the pre-WWII German public was for accepting a police state.

Ok, back to business, nothing to see here.

How, exactly would you have handled the situation in Boston?

Watched the Boston insanity much of yesterday. Too bad they didn’t kill both perps. Chris Wallace of Fox News made a good point. He said “how many people in the area do you think, might like a gun to be able to protect themselves and defend their homes?”

With all those nervous heavily armed cops running around, staying off the street was a good idea for all.

The same way such situations have always been handled in the past.

A major city has NEVER been put on lockdown in America.

Call up the militia. People locked down their own neighborhoods.

” Too bad they didn’t kill both perps.”

In better times, capture would have been a better idea...interrogation might have yielded valuable information on collaborators, possible terror cells, organizations which fund and train terrorists, and so forth. But with the current administration, I suspect this terrorist will be treated with kid gloves. They may just ship him back to his homeland or send him to Afghanistan where he could use his bomb-making skills on our soldiers.

He's a naturalized American citizen and isn't going anywhere.

Since when does the law matter to this administration?

Whho boy, one can have a field day theorizing all these SWAT teams, police and even NG on a hunt for Muslim Democrat Terrorists, and they stumble upon a coincidental militia staging area of thousands of militia member’s ready to embark upon a 2nd Amendment march with full intentions of a show of force against an illegal government.

Militia is fully armed as well, they may not have the nifty MRAPS or choppers but make up in quantity of its soldiers.

Unless the administration needs him to go away. In which case, initial reports of his immigration status were mistaken.

Good. Less red tape when we execute him.

Which “major” cities have ever had the possibility of pipe bombs hidden all over the city.

I think until they really knew what they were working with, and where the other guy was, they had to close the city down.

By emptying the streets, people who were afraid to show up at work or school would not have their pay docked, and students wouldn’t get penalized for missing a day.

I don’t care much for the politics coming out of Boston—or all of MA, for that matter, but they were breaking new ground here and, personally, I think they did a good job.

Just MHO, of course.

I have watched FOX News this morning, and it seem’s to me that they have taken a stance of catagorizing the bombers as “Chechen” terrorist, and not Islamic religious fanatics. I don’t believe that nationality, or domestic vs. foreign labels are valid. It is the “religionosity” that was the root cause. Fanatic Islamic belief’s to be specific.

I think terrorists around the world are going to be flocking here because of this "new ground breaking". Bombers have been our midst before in major cities and we've never done this. If they had a nuke, then things would be different.

Militia is fully armed as well, they may not have the nifty MRAPS or choppers but make up in quantity of its soldiers.

The Beltway Sniper Attacks did not have any militia called up or lockdowns of towns in the beltway area.

Good old fashioned police work is investigating, following up on leads. Non-uniformed officers can get close to the perps, where uniformed officers are identifiable by the perps - so the perps hide from them. If both are used in a coordinated fashion, and the public helps by providing leads (which they do because who would not call the police if they had a muslim in their boat) perps are found.

America is slowly giving up on regular police work and turning an investigation into an action movie. What the sheeple don't realize is that they are slowly being desensitized and trained to respond obediently to bullhorns and news reporters telling them to get off the street.

We certainly should all be militia volunteers, but we must remember that the first order of business is to to keep OUR government under OUR control, that is, statist politicians need to be SINGLED OUT, PUBLICLY VILIFIED, AND VOTED OUT BY MASSIVE VOTER REJECTION.
