#1: Men ARE refusing to raise real men. 'Tis obvious.
#2: The broader cultural porn industry has warped men's mindsets within "dating."
Now on the female side:
* Once upon an American time, MOST women WERE able to enter marriage as either virgins or without a pregnancy in their history.
* The word "no" does exist within our vocabulary; and women knew how to use it in conjunction with the broader cultural boundaries that existed.
* Young women have also failed to pre-empt the very situations that lead to pregnancy, such as avoiding one-on-one private intimacy situations by "dating" within a group setting and setting up other established boundaries.

Oh, please. Men — including the posters on this thread — will not “date” women who won’t have sex.
So what should the women who get pregnant do? Never go out on a date in the first place? Abort? What would fix this for men so morally outraged about unwed motherhood?
Could it be... men should stop having sex with women they’re not married to? That would solve the pregnancy thing. Still, that just CAN’T be the answer... let’s think of something else, quick!
