I’m confused...
He lost control of the car and went off the road down an embankment. He was well enough to be mobile. Why didn’t he just make his way back up the embankment; or at least follow it until it wasn’t so steep?

Pine nuts are DELICIOUS! they are very delish, especially toasted, and quite expensive... our relatives send them to us from New Mexico... we toast them in an iron skillet on the stove, leave the shell on, add salt... and then crack them open like flower seeds...
