Faith was our foster child for 18 months. By God's grace, we finally were able to adopt her on February 21, 2007!

Jacob is Faith's half-brother, and has been our foster child since he was 8 days old. We adopted him on July 25th, 2007!.

Some random facts about me

1 - I am a Christian who worships, serves, and reveres the Lord.
2 - My wife is my best friend; we met in an internet Chat-Room.
3 - I’ve always wanted to be a contestant on Jeporardy, Wheel of Fortune, or The Price is Right.
4 - I believe in moral absolutes.
5 - My children think I’m the funniest person in the world.
6 - Sola Gratia
7 - I believe the Bible is the inerrant, infallible Word of God, and is to be taken literally.
8 - I smoked for 11 years - quit June 1st, 2004.
9 - I have a tattoo on my right arm
10 - Cap’n Crunch is my favorite cereal, second only to Lucky Charms.
11 - Tomato soup is best served with Grilled Cheese sandwiches.
12 - I am a “glass is half-full” type of person.
13 - I like Flea Markets and Yard Sales.
14 - Sola Fide.
15 - Priorities: God – Family – Country. In that order.
16 - I would gladly kill or be killed for all three.
17 - Sola Scriptura
18 - I’ve never been outside of the continental US.
19 - I believe that if it can’t be found in America, you probably don’t need it.
20 - I was Born Again in February of 2004.
21 - I believe that no man can look manly while drinking from a straw.
22 - I prefer to be barefoot whenever possible.
23 - Life begins at conception. No exceptions.
24 - I believe that we are all born sinful, fallen creatures, and only by God's grace is that relationship restored through Christ.
25 - I don’t care what supermodels or Hollywood “stars” think about world politics.
26 - I do not consider myself to be “cultured” or “nuanced”, nor do I “celebrate diversity”. And I’m completely ok with that.
27 - I am a “heavy drinker” (John 7:37)
28 - Solus Christus.
29 - I believe in gender roles.
30 - I enjoy my job.
31 - I like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and Skittles.
32 - I like strategy games. Age of Empires is my favorite.
33 - "A sword day! A red day, 'ere the sun rises!"
34 - I once had my nose pierced, and wore my hair long.
35 - I am not a “high maintenance” person.
36 - I believe that all human life is precious and should be defended, regardless of how young, old, or infirm.
37 - I want to learn how to play the bagpipes.
