given the old ones are still in circulation they aren’t probably going to stop anytime soon.

The new currency:
If you hold it up to the light you can see through it. If you hold it up to the light too long, it ignites.

I wonder if this is what has North Korea in an uproar.

Eventually, somebody will figure out how to produce high-quality counterfeit bills.

I don’t see how counterfeiters can compete with Obama.

translated: the confusion over the new 100s will make passing
counterfeits very easy.

If the counterfeiters really wanted a neat trick, they should have invented fractional reserve lending.
making over 90% of your money out of thin air.

Only for a short time, until people become educated about the new bills.

They should try tying our currency to actual gold.
That would really freak out the Feds.
To: VanDeKoik
I think the only way to do that now would be via Constitutional Amendment — and it would have to be done carefully to keep Congress from wriggling around it (say altering the standards of measure to alter the value of the dollar).

The new currency: If you hold it up to the light you can see through it. If you hold it up to the light too long, it ignites. The new Ben Bernanke $100 bill. Keep it in your wallet too long and it turns into a $50 bill.

The value of our money decrease daily. Zer0 is the criminal who prints money and Bernanke is passing them off as real

For the lone wolf counterfeiter, its probably too much. For a nation state willing to throw millions of $$ at the problem (and execute those who fail), not so much.
