You assume I am calling someone else a moron. You might just as well assume that was my "signoff".

By the way, I have never called anyone a moron simply for disagreeing with me. There are plenty of morons out there who agree with most of my thinking and there are plenty of very smart people who don't. And vice versa.

If I were to call someone a moron, it would be because they said something really dumb in public.

So what? You seem to be saying that unless an idea is perfectly complete, fully developed in all its implications and consequences, as well as fully supported in ways not even discovered yet, the idea is somehow debased. That's dumb.

Half an idea is still half an idea.

Yes - and half an idea is still better than no cogent idea at all.
