Really, haven’t we all mourned the loss of a beaver.

Ask not for whom the beaver tolls, it tolls for thee.

Most dog owners know this about their dogs. They feel and have emotions.

I recently read an article about a study of cat’s brains and how the part of their brains and of human brains that deal with emotions are similiar and cats feel emotions too. I could have told anyone that without the study.

The newsbabe read a quote from the video comments, ‘More evidence that dogs are us’........uhhhhh, NO. Dogs don’t kill their babies by the millions and call it their ‘right’.

My Dalmatian Lizzy, now passed, had a beaver acquaintance.

She’d paddle all over the pond, and the beaver always stayed one step/stroke ahead, or pop up behind her.

It was a hoot to watch, ‘catch me if you can’

Thank you. I think.

There was an updated posted beneath the video. Original posting last July— the update on ~5/1 said that Bella had been missing at that point for about 10 days. Hope she’s found and that they update again...

There’s quite a bit of info below the vid explaining that it wasn’t a pet beaver and that it was free to come and go. They aren’t sure what happened. From their FAQs”

“How did Beavis die?
No one knows. Possibly by the neighbor’s tractor during a field cutting.”
