NDIANAPOLIS For the 12th time, a Corvette will pace the field for the Indianapolis 500.
Race officials revealed Thursday that the 2014 Corvette Stingray will serve as the official pace car for the 97th running of the Greatest Spectacle in Racing.
The seventh-generation car differs from the production models with track-mandated safety features and strobe lights. Chevrolet said the cars powertrain will be able to pace the field without any upgrades thanks to its new 6.2L LT1 engine.

My sentiments exactly. I used to like Corvettes, but then about 15 years or so ago, they looked like they were trying to copy “European”. Forget it. Mustangs rule.
Hmm. I like that quarter view from the front at the top of the thread, but from the back...yech. I do not like that rear styling at all.
