I haven’t had a “friend” at work since 1996 or so. Sad but true. Don't trust anyone and keep to yourself. It's even worse if you have to manage others.

Even worse if they “look like America”. I’ve been hit on the racial end twice - no clue why, except maybe telling them that they were wrong on something.
