I don’t know that I’d consider braces as “plastic surgery”.
And the “fix” provided ain’t permanent either.
I had a gap between my front teeth as a kid, braces fixed it.
For about 12 years.
Then they spread back out, happy to be back where they wanted.
I agree, don’t consider braces as plastic surgery. And think having ears pinned back is probably a kindness to the child. But I think the noses, chins, etc. should generally be left alone.
