I was just giving more details. I went back out to take a pic of the prints, but the moisture was drying so fast there wasn’t much to see 5 minutes later.

“on garbage, ie smorgasbord, nights.”

As one who also no longer walks at night, I feel your fright-the mountain lion is also attracted by the aroma wafting into the woods on garbage nights. There have been overturned cans, surrounded by big kitty tracks, so I put out my trash at dawn, on the way to my vehicle. We can share territory with bears and mountain lions, but getting close enough to be on the menu isn’t wise...

I wonder if Obama’s minions
Are trying to find a way
To re-coat him with Teflon
And possibly save the day

By defeating Hillary at
Her political predation game
And making sure that she gets
All the Benghazi fiasco blame

But she has learned from Bill
How to wage a dirty fight-
Someone will have to drag her
Gently into that goodnight...

Aaaaagh! That song “Jesse” was also sung by some female country artist, and I didn’t like that or the Simon version-teaching us women to cater to men’s whims...

Well, like I said above, it’s not exactly much of a threat to any man to be forced to live without flowers and to drink room temperature alcohol. ;-)

“room temperature alcohol”_maybe, but I like white wine chilled, and most of the people I know-men or women-prefer their beer cold...

I know, but drinking tepid wine isn’t such a big deal. We do it at Church. ;-)

I got rid of the “Jesse” song with one I hadn’t heard in years-”The Lonely Bull” by Herb Alpert-I was humming it this morning on the way to a bid...

True, but that is different-that is a spiritual sharing-I like cold wine for physical enjoyment...

Turns out public nudity is not OK at CMU. Well, they’re not doing anything, but they are tuning it over to the county for legal prosecution.

Since you were so near, could you SMELL the bear? My understanding (having lived in Washington State) is that the bears just out of hibernation smell dreadful. A co-worker of my daughter’s had one cross her backyard, and she could smell him for an hour. She smelled the bear before she ever saw him.
