The other picture went away, him with with a mic. I agree that Johnny Dollar does not match that face.

You’re right—Bob Bailey is the best Johnny Dollar. Here’s that other picture that went away: http://vint-rad.blogspot.com/2012/02/yours-truly-johnny-dollar.html

William Bendix was good in Life Boat

I don't like "Life of Riley" much, either.

Where they too cheap to get a real little girl actress? The voice is awful.

Yeah, it’s a pretty bad “little girl” voice. I remember Ed playing this one last Mother’s Day.

It’s a shame they would use such a cheap voice when using talent like Ladd.

I love Box 13's concept...

To seek out new ideas for his fiction, Holliday ran a classified ad in the Star-Times newspaper where he formerly worked: "Adventure wanted, will go anywhere, do anything -- write Box 13, Star-Times." The stories followed Holliday's adventures when he responded to the letters sent to him by such people as a psycho killer and various victims.

Box 13 Rocks. Alan Ladd is da bomb! We love it, even though this was a re-run from last year.

Orson Welles as Sherlock Holmes? I don’t know...why reinvent the wheel...

I’m heading to the radio Gina...good talking with you...have a great week.

Yeah, the story is fine, but we’re with you. Orson Welles is so-so as Holmes. He apparently has not read all of Conan-Doyle’s works, or he would know that Holmes never said, “Elementary, my dear Watson.” It’s just like the Casablanca misquote of “Play it again, Sam.” Bogart didn’t say that. He just said, “Play it.”

Goodnight, Vision. See you next week, Lord willing.
