We got our fair share of the “victims” here in Houston...
After recieving their debit cards from the government/FEMA, the Galleria (high-end shopping mall) and the local strip clubs had a boom in business with all sorts of Gucci bags and lap dances bought from those funds...
Apparently it is a lesson the government has yet to learn from, much less admit was a poor system to implement in this particular case...
I bet the same thing happened up your way as well...
