oh, you should have seen her perk up this morning when she met the 7 year old. he went up our stairs and she hightailed it right up behind him. She romped and jumped and circled him. too cute. Tobbe melted right away and loved her. we hadn’t even gotten any gates out thinking she was too small to make it up. of course, she couldn’t get back down.

What a delightful word! I’m sorry that I did not check in earlier, but I decided to sleep in. I must be getting better because I’ve slept right through my next pill times — 3 times.

I saw my surgeon yesterday, and he is no quacksalver. I got thubs up from both the surgeon and the PT. I get 3 more weeks of PT at 2X a week. I can drive if I want to. I’m stil tentative about driving. I have to be sure that I can lift that leg and hit the brake in an emergency.

No more narcotics. Approved to use Aspercreme, although the doctor has never heard of anyone else using it. In fact it is recommended that I used MORE of it and apply it directly to my scar because it has aloe in it. I’m supposed to rub it in harder than I eally want to.

Vary tough words to utter under the circumstances, I’ll give him a lot of credit for that.

It must’ve been difficult to realize even before two periods were done that your season is over… At least it didn’t come crashing down within 10 minutes as it did in Boston for Toronto — not much consolation though, and it probably doesn’t sting any less.

I guess the next big East matchup* TPTB are looking for is Crosby vs. the Blueshirts… (Unless they want to play the sympathy ploy a bit more re BOS.)

If you want to have some fun, look at #scandaldraft. It’s hilarious.

There’s always the Jagr angle with Boston. That and they stole our colors. ;-)

so hard to keep track of his whereabouts, he needs to have a LOWJACK installed so one knows where to find him!

Do you suppose that beneath that wacky expression is a cold and calculating operator who could clear the field taking out not only the president but also his big 2016 rival?

Second look at Joe Biden, evil genious?

Anybody else see that we finally got to see “the mother” of “How I Met Your Mother” fame yesterday?

It was underwhelming. I guess when you wait that long...

The show is a shell of itself. I guess we have one more year of it.

My son was just asking me about that show yesterday.

What? You mean a character in the title who will have less airtime, over the course of the series, then any of the main characters plus several of Ted’s fiance’s...

They should change the title to “How I Boned Your Aunt Robin Off and On for s Decade.”

Wait a second.

The “mother” looked like Robin, a bit.

“Your aunt Robin”

Could it be.

That the phrase has been meant as literal and the mother of Ted’s chidren is Robin’s sister?

Surely, if Robin had a sister it would have come up before now. On any self-respecting show, that is.

I guess I missed the part where Marshall applied to be a judge.

Ah yes, a homecoming of sorts for Jaromir…

And I thought the Pens just wanted to sync their colors with the (perennially successful) Steelers? ‘Never saw a yellow Penguin — except in the corners ;)

The Steelers and Pirates were both on top when the Pens went to black and gold. Of course, the colors are long associated with the city, whose flag bears the colors.

So I jest about Boston taking our colors, but they sorta kinda did.

It all works out for us. You can wear a Steeler jersey to a Pirates game, etc.

Back from doing a bid for the customer from hell-a total scam artist. Bah! A waste or almost three hours and nearly $10.00 worthy of gas for my truck...

With Dick’s tricks in fashion
Once more, we are being treated
To quacksalvers running the show
And the rest of us being cheated

That Obama has an enemies list
Wasn’t that difficult to guess-
Like Dick and Bill, his helpers
Are that old reliable-the IRS

As if that wasn’t enough scandal,
They have a new and novel need
To spy on the AP’s reporters
As it bites the hands that feed...
