It was 33 this morning.

I’m so glad your puppy is doing well. Is he having an easier time eating now? I fed Midget girl some baby food the day/evening after she was spayed, at the vet’s suggestion-she ate it, of course, but by nightfall, she was beside the other two cats, her face in one of the bowls, munching away.

I like “Cool Air”-it reminds me of the Italian restaurant just off campus where I used to meet Nemesis...

Your puppy is precious-did she start eating something but treats?

It was 58 this morning, but the temperature is just a bit below average for May here-it is 76 and cloudy-it is supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow.

Nope, just one treat all day. No water. I am getting worried again.

That is weird-I’d be concerned as well, but maybe she is just a bit freaked out-have you taken her to the vet yet?

I heard this on the way home today and I had to crank it up and sing-fun earworm...

“I come home in the morning light
My mother says when you gonna live your life right?
Oh mother dear we’re not the fortunate ones
And girls they want to have fun
Oh girls just want to have fun

The phone rings in the middle of the night
My father yells what you gonna do with your life
Oh daddy dear you know you’re still number one
But girls they want to have fun
Oh girls just want to have

That’s all they really want-some fun
When the working day is done
Girls-they want to have fun
Oh girls just want to have fun”

It’s a little different in the original version, written and sung by a man.

We have decided to remove the cone of shame at mealtime. There is just no way he can get to a bowl, food or water, with that big satellite dish in the way.

She finally ate and drank, peed and pooped. She waited til 5pm. Vet can’t see her until the 23rd. They are busy.

See, you learn something new all the time — I wasn’t aware of the official PIT colors.

For Buffalo, it’s plaid....

Fantastic-it looks like she was just a bit freaked out.

Not till the 23rd? Obamascare is even affecting the veterinary business...

That is a joke for now-but I would not be surprised to see all the uninsured pets-and that is pretty much all of them-put into one group/exchange, waiting in long lines for appointments they made months ago, while their owners fill out piles of senseless paperwork-they could call it peticaid...
