The Star Trek films were a bit uneven, with Shatner’s directorial endeavor being the worst IMO.
I enjoyed the reboot and have my tickets for Friday night already.
I think the resetting of the timeline was genius; let’s see what else Abrams does.
I saw ST in 3D last night; loved it!
Took the g/f as part of her bday extravaganza, she loved it too.

One question I had is why wasn’t Pike resurrected in the same manner Kirk was? The time interval wouldn’t have been that much longer than Kirk’s.
