There’s a huge hole in this theory. And that is that Obama would look good after a slaughter of our people in Benghazi and that the trading of the blind sheik would rectify that.
He would have lost the election if such a slaughter had occurred. Romney would have eaten him alive and the American people would have seen the truth.
Conspiracies just aren’t containable in regards to secrecy. I don’t doubt the gun running, and Stevens was a necessary casualty of keeping it secret. That explains the Turkish Embassador, and the Turkish Prime Minister being in DC now.
CONTAINMENT
There wasn't supposed to be a slaughter. Woods and Doherty weren't supposed to come to the rescue. The station crew was supposed to go quietly and offer no resistance. Woods and Doherty's defiance of orders to stand down threw the monkey wrench into the works. Obama probably went to bed thinking the plan had gotten a bit messed up but could still be made to work as long as hostages had been taken. Then he woke up to find Woods and Doherty had done their jobs very well and rescued all but two, who were dead, not captives in muslim hands. At that point the spin had to be redesigned on they fly.

I always thought of the sacrificing of the 40 or so ppl as a last-minute ‘PlanB’ reaction, for this very reason. Surely they aren’t stupid enough to think they would look good after 40 ppl were slaughtered.
When the Seals defied orders, the WH then HAD to leave them for dead because the SEALS had to die (leave no witnesses ). And when the 40ppl got out alive, they didn’t have much choice but to stick with the stupid overdubbed video.
