Bedrock depth varies between 0-24” across my homestead. Some of my front lawn is sod on bedrock. The builder had to jackhammer the rock to install the sidewalks. LOL.
We had a buried railroad tank car for tornado and civil defense shelter. For us kids, it was a submarine.
Well, at least you don’t have to worry about sinkholes. Heh. We’ve got ‘em all over PA.
