Lion is not very good IMHO. Zebra is very good.

I wonder if it tastes any good.
To: Harmless Teddy Bear
I believe it. Herbivores usually taste better than carnivores.
BTW, I had bear once. Tough, but good. Very rich taste.

I ate some Lion, many moons ago. A planter in Greenwood Ms shot one in Africa and brought some meat home. He BBQed it for some friends and I was lucky enough to get an invite.
Even after extensive preparation it was tough, the antelope was gamy, but better.

Let me guess, it wasn’t prepared too hot, it wasn’t prepared too cold, it was just right.

*snicker*
Took some visitors around Kenya.
The first day it was "Look! Zebras!"
The third day it was, "oh, more zebras."
The seventh day it was, "just run over the < censored > things".

When I was in England they pronounced zebra to rhyme with Debra.

Sorry, but I'm not eating any carnivores.
Cattle, elk and buffalo are herbivores. Fish are carnivores. Pigs and chickens are omnivores, so they're marginal in my book.

What's is the reason why you like herbivores, but not carnivores?
They supposedly cut down on this in the 90s, but cattle where, possibly still are, fed meat, including other cows.

To each his own. I’ll pass.

Wouldn’t it be cheaper to go to a sketchy Chinese restaurant if you want to eat cat?

What's is the reason why you like herbivores, but not carnivores? I don't eat vegetables. My food eats vegetables. There is food and there is feed. Feed is what food eats.
Cattle haven't been fed animal products since "Mad Cow Disease", and mine never did.

Having seen lions in the wild I'd never want to eat one regardless of how good they might taste.Spotted Owl,OTOH,is quite tasty they say.
