' 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' star Tim Curry is recovering at home following a major stroke.
The 67-year-old actor is said to be "doing fine" and recuperating in Los Angeles following a collapse last night.
His long-time agent Marcia Hurwitz dismissed claims the stroke has affected the 67-year-old actor's speech and insists the star is in good spirits.
She told the The Daily Mail: "Tim is doing great. He absolutely can speak and is recovering at this time and in great humour."'

I guess you just never "got" MST3000. The movie was just there for Joel and the Robots. In a similar way, you just don't "get" RHPS. That's OK. It doesn't make you a loser or anything. Just accept that you don't get it, like it, or approve of anyone who does get it or like it. I bet you don't much care for people who don't care for or get Star Wars either.

I've seen a number of lists of "official" bad movies, and Rocky Horror never made one of those lists. BTW, the two "official" worst movies ever made that I recall from those lists were "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" and "Plan 9 From Outer Space."
Star Wars which you seem to idolize, really isn't a very good movie. BTW, did you realize that in the story arc, Darth Vader was conceived without a father? Sound familiar?

Low budget, but not crappy. Tim Curry singing 'Sweet Transvistite' is a great song. I love the 'Time Warp'
The movie also has great conservative values. Frank's sexuality and lifestyle is 'too extreme' and he is removed from office and executed. A revolution to restore a conservative order.
And don’t forget the Time Warp includes “A step to the RIGHT” How more conservative could this be?

I am simply asking for your source, as to the "rating" of the movie in question.
I was following this thread the other night, and just came back to catch up, saw your post, and your great screen name (It makes me smile to read it :) And indeed, with Mr. Curry, it is all about the expressions and of course, the voice. Not many can do both comedy, and true villainy believably.

You have no understanding of RHPS. Great music. Funny. Conservative values, where the preveted leader is overthrown and killed.
The audience CELEBRATES the movie, not ridicule it. I really don't know how someone could be more wrong about a subject.
