The audience throws rice and toast at the screen, and squirts other members of the audiencs with squirt guns filled with unknown liquid. Name ONE OTHER great movie where this happens. You cannot, because THERE IS NONE.

MST3000 is a good analogy for this stupid show. People show up to good movies to enjoy them, not to ridicule and throw rice at them.

It is Officially the Worst Movie Ever made.

You are 0bama. Ideology over reason and logic. Lying. Refusing to answer simple questions
***Oh My God. I cannot believe what I’m seeing on Free Republic in support of homosexualism, debauchery, cannibalism and simple immorality.

Whatever people take in with their senses affects them. Junk food affects the body adversely; nutritious healthy food strengthens and nourishes the body. Simililarly, junk entertainment (so-called) coarsens the dulls and agitates the mind, while uplifting and meaningful or at the least harmless entertainment informs, uplifts, cheers or deepens thoughts in the mind. Textbooks that are fact based help inform the mind, propaganda disguised as truth distorts and twists the mind.

Same with with the eyes - all the senses get “fed” with their respective “food” - either healthy or junk, it all affects levels of the mind and emotions.

When a person perpetually eats junk food, simple healthy foods become tasteless, and everything has to be increasingly saturated with artificial colors, flavors, MSG type flavor enhancers, and so on. Similarly, when what the eyes/ears take in via movies, music, entertainment, TV and so on is increasingly perverted, crude, disjointed, sickening violent, barbaric and so on the mind finds simple, upllifting, meaningful or harmfless fun type entertainment “boring”. People develop the taste for hardcore crap by watching and listening to it.

Advertisers know this, the purverors of filth and perversion know it, the commies and fags know it. That’s why they use specific techniques to get their messages across. Why don’t people get it? Because they want to dabble in crap thinking they’re immune?

No one is immune, it’s human nature and such natural law cannot be violated, ever, without consequence.

If anyone stays totally away from TV/vile movies for a while and then checks in after a long time, they know exactly what I mean. I don’t know how many times I’ve read comments on FR saying that “watching this doesn’t affect me”. The fact people think watching disgusting crap doesn’t affect them is proof that their consciousness has already become so hardened and coarsened that they don’t even realize the harm it’s doing to them. And whether such filth is supposed in “jest” or not makes no difference at all.

The people directing, writing, producing and acting in such crap - are they people who believe in God? In any morality? In the Constitution? In God given rights? Or are they leftists, perverts, atheists, slime balls, criminals, child molesters, homosexuals, adulterers, cheaters? Would anyone here want to invite those people into their houes and have dinner with them? Befriend them? Invite them for a weekend visits? Probably not.

Why invite them into your mind? Everything we see/hear etc is recorded in our minds. It’s called “memory”. It’s in there, like a seed, and affects us, for a long long time.

Those who make movies, advertisting, gov propaganda, TV etc - all use psychological methods to influence peoples’ minds, emotions and decisions - using colors, rhythms, word patterns, juxtapostioning, timing, facial expressions and so on. What to speak of story lines and graphic sex, utterly mindless and cruel violence, and the like. It’s a science. Why be a freaking lab animal for these nasty people?

It makes fun of homosexuality, debauchery and cannibalism, it doesn’t push them. It shows all of those things in a very bad light as they should be shown.

The music is great, the story is horrible.

Have you ever watched Portlandia? It ridicules liberalism even more than RHPS.

It is a sick, crappy movie that people show up just to throw rice & toast at the screen & squirt audience members with unknown liquids. If you look at all the crappy movies and find some way to measure how bad they are, this one stands out. Because it has been playing in theatres longer than any other movie, period. So it is Officially the Worst Movie Ever Made.

I saw RHPC years ago when it first came out. It did not encourage to do any of those things. It encouraged me to laugh at that behavior.

I’ve seen it several times. To be candid, it was impossible to follow the movie because of all the activity of the audience. The only other time I’ve seen that kind of behavior in a theatre was when Reefer Madness was played, for the very same reason that the audience could mock the movie.

I saw it before audiences dressed in costume and talked back to the screen and only once since that kind of behavior started. There are always that kind of “look at me look at me” people using every possible device to make themselves noticed.

I would not go to see it again but hearing the music makes me want to dance.

Kev

In my 13 years I’ve never seen anyone so worked up over something .....like its SCOTUS determining gay marriage

For me it was just a silly movie ....campy as we used to say

The audience lot as I recall was sorta pre Goth ....little theatre or new stage sorts....locally.....drinking sorts.....too.....maybe a few stoners but more about drinking....or I forgot....quaays

I liked some of the music and it was like a play....and yes ...it was made to be a bad movie

Say as opposed to Lawrence....or GWTW

But I wouldn’t get so worked up

Most here see Mockingbird as sooooooo relevant whereas to me its propaganda

I want a movie to really despise

Billy Jack....though I liked the actor

The Contender......weinsteins kill Bush effort

Joe.....Peter Boyle....nuts....Hippies are angels

Mississippi Burning or Betrayed.....now those get me going

So chill....it was a long time ago....back when no one believed Gomer Pyle was a mite “quore”

I enjoyed the early and mid 70s before Disco spread like herpes

Yeah some people get really worked up over little things that happened a long time ago. The woman who was the lead singer for the Divinals recently died. Some posters grave dancing was so over the top you’d of thought she caused the death of millions and took down Western Civilization.

I agree Billy Jack was the worst movie I ever saw. They were serious about their message and it was meant to influence young people.

No. The worse movie ever was Bowling for Columbine, followed by any other Michael Moore movie.

Has it been playing continuously in theatres for 30 years? Not even close.

But it certainly would be in the top 5, right?

But when your 13 years old and seeing them at the drive in they were a blast. Still Renember the scene when Billy Jack said he was going to kick the guy in the face and there was nothing he could do....ha

Yeah some people get really worked up over little things that happened a long time ago.

Those "little things" as you put them are the very seeds that were plated to grow to where we are now.

Some call it incrementalism, some call it progressive, smart people recognize it for what it is....the ongoing destruction of America.
