The 67-year-old actor is said to be "doing fine" and recuperating in Los Angeles following a collapse last night.

His long-time agent Marcia Hurwitz dismissed claims the stroke has affected the 67-year-old actor's speech and insists the star is in good spirits.

She told the The Daily Mail: "Tim is doing great. He absolutely can speak and is recovering at this time and in great humour."'

A crummy joke movie like reefer madness or Planet Nine doesn’t become 73 on the all-time grossing movies, adjusted for inflation.
***It does if it is Officially the Worst Movie in History, and people stand in line to throw rice & toast at the screens when the movie plays. Do you honestly think people attend this movie because they think the content is so astounding that they have to see it again & again like Star Wars? Really? With so much debauchery & homosexuality? And you push that perspective here on Free Republic? WTF?

It is childish to keep pretending that it is “officially the worst movie in history” because you don’t like it, children do that, keep insisting on using a word like that, a formal claim that doesn’t apply at all.

As far as people watching it because it is good, as the reviews say it is, yes, the formal reviews are accurate, it is a good movie, it also clicked with the audience and makes for an audience involved phenomena and became a cult hit.

I have seen the movie many times and own the DVD and the soundtrack because I like the movie.

The musical, Rocky Horror, is much more entertaining for multiple viewings than Star Wars.

Read the thread, it is a pretty popular movie among freepers.

***Pushing homosexuality, debauchery and cannibalism are popular among freepers. I simply never thought I would see the day.

It is childish to keep pretending that it is “officially the worst movie in history”
***No, it is childish to think that this is a good movie that people want to see over & over again because it’s such a magnificent storytelling event like Star Wars. These people are standing in line so they can throw rice & toast and mock the movie. They don’t do that at Star Wars or Mary Poppins or “Gone with the Wind” or various classics. They will engage in such activity when they watch Mystery Science Theatre 3000 or other mocking fests. This movie is the worst POS ever to hit the market.

First, a guy that uses cussing like you do is the wrong guy to be so preachy.

As far as you not liking the movie, just say so, but don't make up these childish claims that it is "official", that is silly.

I personally watch the movie because I enjoy it, evidently enough other people do to review it positively and to make it one of the all time money makers, Star Wars by the way, was not very good, so I don't know why you keep holding it up as some kind of standard of great movies, was it the WORST MOVIE IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD !!!, no, it was alright and amusing for a kids movie.

***You consider POS to be cussing, but you push a movie like RHPS? What a bunch of horse manure.

As far as you not liking the movie, just say so, but don’t make up these childish claims that it is “official”, that is silly.
***It aint childish. The movie is SO BAD that people stand in line so they can throw rice and toast at the screen during the movie. Do you deny that claim? That’s basically what MST3000 is all about, mocking how bad the movie is. Do you deny that? How do you make a case that this is a good movie, then?

I personally watch the movie because I enjoy it,
***You are alone or nearly alone in that. How you can push this moral garbage onto FR is astonishing.

evidently enough other people do to review it positively and to make it one of the all time money makers,
***Listen, sparky: it’s one of the all time money makers because it is SO BAD that people line up to throw stuff at the screen and make snarky remarks like MST3000. That’s how bad it is. It’s so bad that people make fun of it.

Star Wars by the way, was not very good,
***OMG, where are you coming from?

so I don’t know why you keep holding it up as some kind of standard of great movies,
***Umm, people stood in line for more than a day to see it, they watched it over and over again, and they didn’t throw stuff at the screen for it being so bad. What is your standard for a great movie?

was it the WORST MOVIE IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD !!!, no, it was alright and amusing for a kids movie.
***What?

It is SO BAD that people line up in costumes and throw toast & rice at the screen when the movie plays.

I'm trying to figure out if you're being serious or sarcastic.

RHPS has become something of "performance art," where the audience actually participates along with the movie.

They do show up in costumes, often standing right in front of the screen, performing the lines of the character whose costume they're wearing.

The rice and toast you refer to is not akin to the old "throwing tomatoes at bad performances," but again, to allow the audience to participate in the performance. They're thrown only during certain scenes: For instance, the rice is thrown as the newly married couple exit the church. The toast is sillier: Slices of toast are thrown when a toast is announced.

And don't forget the waterguns... Used during the rain scene.

Tim is one of the best actors I ever saw. His portrayal of a serial killer on 'Criminal Minds' a couple years ago was a brilliant performance for the ages. Wow. And he was great as 'Dale the Whale' on a few episodes of 'Monk'.

RHPS has become something of “performance art,” where the audience actually participates along with the movie.
***Similar to MST3000, where they mock the ridiculous movie mercilessly.

actually participates along with the movie.

They do show up in costumes, often standing right in front of the screen, performing the lines of the character whose costume they’re wearing.
***mocking the movie.

The rice and toast you refer to is not akin to the old “throwing tomatoes at bad performances,”
***Exactly. If you throw tomatoes, you get thrown out of the theatre.

but again, to allow the audience to participate in the performance.
***Like, throwing tomatoes.

They’re thrown only during certain scenes: For instance, the rice is thrown as the newly married couple exit the church. The toast is sillier: Slices of toast are thrown when a toast is announced.
***So if you throw a piece of toast at the wrong time, do you get thrown out? I’ve seen fights break out at these movies because people shoot bucketfulls of water at the audience. That’s all because it’s a good movie? And are you going to keep avoiding the questions of debauchery, homosexualism, and cannabilism?

And don’t forget the waterguns... Used during the rain scene.
***I’ve seen fights break out at these movies because people shoot bucketfulls of water at the audience. That’s all because it’s a good movie? Again I say: It is Officially the Worst Movie Ever Made.

You yourself, defend how this is a worthwhile movie or STFU yourself. Homosexuality. Debauchery. Cannibalism. People throwing stuff at the screen because it is such an incredibly bad movie.

That is how bad it is. It’s so bad, people line up to see it and mock it, EVEN 30 YEARS LATER.

The Worst Movie Ever Made.

You are too drunk to talk to, you have been ranting and raving for hours, and are absolutely clueless about the fans of the movie, now you are desperately pinging people to talk to.

***Oh, so that’s your excuse. I’ve been wondering.

Myself, when I come across a drunk, I engage them right away because they are easy argumentational prey and generate tons of classic fallacies. Instant mincemeat. But I can see why you’d shy away from engaging when you do not know how to form a coherent argument even when you’re sober.

LOL, look at your post in the morning, you want to fight, to argue, to harass and be angry, lash out, rave and rant, make incoherent repetitive posts saying the same nonsense over and over, as though you are in some raging drunken bar brawl, except that everyone else is just talking to each other and listening to music.

repetitive posts
***because you do not answer the simple freeping questions.

I know why. The answers would prove my point. Not that I could count on you being honest or anything like that. So instead, you’re reduced to pushing a movie that upholds homosexuality, cannabalism, and debauchery while ranting against me and... all at the same time... not answering my questions. This is an all-around POS of a movie. The Worst Movie EVER Made.
