I usually do more but the mustard dog with onions is NEVER wrong. It wasn't my custom in the late 60s until I ate at DW in SoCal. The "regular" dog was the mustard dog and it was served with or without onions. I came to enjoy your preference very much then. It is my default thought I might today add relish or peppers or whatever.
