People probably worried she was a kidnap victim or a domestic slave or something. They can’t tell that it’s her parent(s) driving.

If she is unharmed and all that, I assume they won’t be charged. Except for perhaps the seatbelt violation.

If I saw a kid in the back of a car in a dog cage I’d be tempted to call. It’s not very normal. I’d worry about whether I saw something terrible and did nothing.

The news I saw on television, which included an interview with her parents stated the girl had been removed from the home by Child Protective Services, and the child was staying with relatives.

Thank goodness they got htese hardened criminal seal belt violators off gthe roads- who knows what they mighta tried next?
