Yes, and her face still looked natural then.

smart ass. she does have extra toes on both her back paws. one has to be removed, but one grew all the way out. weird. vet broke it to me that we did not get a show dog. we already knew about the toes.

He is just adorable. I imagine he’s a little larger than my friend’s Hava-Malts. Or will be. They actually are a little smaller than her big, fat Tom cats.

Ava, Maya and Rowan’s mom is now a professional photographer. We had a barbeque with them Sunday and she took her picture for us. 3 kids running everywhere and one puppy trying to keep up. What a rough day Buffy had. The door is cracked there so the little one can manage and there is a fenced in yard so Buffy could be anywhere she wanted. Last night when we got her home she was more exhausted than I have ever seen her.

And too bad you are so far away. Kate goes to your home and poses families (dogs, too) and does an entire photo shoot. After she edits them she gives you a flash drive with your entire shoot. You print up the ones you want. She only charges about $50 a shoot. She does ours free, but she is making very good money and has all the work she wants.

well good for her! if she lived down here she’d make a crap ton of $$$ but then her living expenses would be astronomical so it’s good she is where she is and that biz is good.

Yeah, mine’s ears are too floppy, but that just makes him cute.

Some people will try to have implants put in to make their dog’s ears stand up straight. Insanity.

My grandson took my daughter to see The Great Gatsby for Mother’s Day. She loved it, but she doesn’t remember the 70’s version. She thought the cinematography and the parties were spectacular. One comment she had is that she couldn’t emotionally bond with any of the characters, so it didn’t matter to her when they all came to a bad end.

I told her to go rent the Redford version. She’ll like it better, I’m sure.

that does make sense, i didn’t shed a single tear at that movie and lord knows i bawl like a baby at hallmark commercials. Rare the movie that doesn’t make me at least tear up, but GG did not. the cinematography was quite good, but the parties and debauchery just made me uncomfortable.

Our neighbors on the corner had a golden who had lost one leg to cancer. I used to tell folks how to get to my house....”go up the hill two blocks and turn right at the house with the 3-legged dog....” ...they always saw the dog in his front yard and found my house easily. That dog was a charmer, too. Such a sweet girl she was. Died a year or so ago.

Buffy has been out meeting the neighborhood dogs...all but the two dobermans next door. She is terrified of them, as is the whole neighborhood. She rolls over and lays on her back in submission to all the rest of them. Took her two doors down to meet the male shih tzu my friend has. She now has an official boyfriend. LOL

#2 suit was very di regueur in Houston, TX in the oil biz in the 60's and 70's, although the shoes would be all white, or black and white with more white than black. #1 jacket looks like it escaped from a barbershop quartet.

My husband wore a suit like #2 to London in the summer to call on a customer, and an oil driler bought his shoes right off of him. Insisted. 'Cuz there was nothing like that available in London.

'Ya think?

You’d see #2 in any Southern city 3/4 of the year, and even in the upper mid-west in the summer. LOL.

But, I don’t need to tell you that none of those places are DC, thank God. Remember what Teddy Kennedy used to mutter under his breath when he felt confined: “Too many blue suits...” as he made for the door (or the bar).

Now that dress has gotten so much more casual, you don’t see the summer suit so often any more. Even in banks, they are wearing monogrammed polo shirts on hot days.

The effrontery of this man to fly the flag upside down and annoy his liberal neighbors is stirring up a controversy.

She’s a girl...and her parents only grew to 13 lbs. They are bred to have short legs, so they don’t get too tall. The shih tzu down the street is a huge 15 lbs. I swear, her fur is half her weight, which is just a tad over 6 lbs.
