You cannot allow yourself to get attached to any of the Doctors. LOL!!!
Another poster mentioned Hugh Laurie, which would be vastly entertaining, but I am afraid he would end up acting too much like the House character. :-/
My guess is that they are going to pull in an older actor in order to pay homage to the fact that there hasn’t been a “grandfatherly” Doctor since the reboot.
Oddly, it seems that they keep getting younger with each doctor.
Maybe they wil get Justin Bieber for the next role. /s
