I got a grey swirl tabby feral adoptee. He bit me so hard after being wounded on the prowl. I had to go to the hospital. Animal control came to my house and issued me a ticket and fine. The hospital has to report all bites. The cat had all his shots at the time but the gov. wants your money in fines. They don't care if you paid all the money to vet and your hospital for your care and the pets.

The cat bit me because I picked him up and brought him to his food bowl without seeing that he had an oozing wound on his side when he came into the house.

The 300 dollar cat bite with a 50 dollar additional charge from animal control fine.

In the old days they had a dog warden who got paid on a per diem basis. Now with big Gov. They hire full time 3 fat guys in police uniforms who drive around in cop cars and issue tickets and knock on doors asking if you have a pet. The budget for this is 20 times higher than the old days.
