Welcome to the Summer Stretch. TNT will be the channel for races.
BBQ rules, HAHA. My son might agree with his being the bbq cook, though, because I get distracted cleaning the kitchen and other chores.
Back just in time to see 27 laps to go and JPM and Kenseth slide around. No one looks hurt. Kind of like skating.
Hot on the front range today. Forecast high of 90... it is trying really hard to get there.
You must be a fan of Rocky Mountain grilled oysters.
I prefer the ones from the west coast
I quit satellite and cable, so I’m blind for the rest of the year ‘cept what comes over the air.
Will check in for the play by plays.
92 going to 95 today 99 tomorrow.
Y’all have fun...
Yours have mercury, MCs has protien...
Another yellow, car brushed the wall. 6 laps to go. JJ leads, Earnhart junior 2nd, KyBu 3rd.
Would like to see that hold, have all three plus Stenhouse.
Obvious his goats have been eating Jimsonweed
Woo hoo. Blenderville wins for the week.
I know...
Well congratulations you old codger! Had a bear get into the compost pile the other night and it had me distracted or I think I would have had you!
Our neighbor called this morning that they had a Mama Bear and 3 (THREE) cubs trying to break into their pickup last night. I still have muddy bear prints on the door and window of my pickup from 6 or 7 days ago.
You must have left some Twinkies or Ding-Dongs on the front seat.
I always carry some of my wife’s homemade cookies. My neighbor said a friend parked their car at a trailhead and had been warned to clean it out before the hike by a ranger but the bear broke in for a roll of Tums although I suspect there was still a smell of the food.
Thanks for the thread and I hope you had a great weekend
Thanks for the thread from me too. A great time even though tubebender can be so annoying to my new collie (Rocky) that Rocky will try to bite my feet as I walk around. I blame it on tubebender because there is no one better I can think of to blame it on!!! I bet TB voted for 0Bummer too, or his wife, or someone!!!
Congrats on the top score.
Screen saver shots of last year’s Sonoma race are cycling through the screen along with the scenic photos we took coming back up the coast. We’d love to do that trip again but the MIL will be transferred to an Assisted Living facility on the 27th and we need to find a facility and prepare her room with family photos, etc. Too busy to enjoy life this year. Haven’t even planted a large part of the garden yet. Did manage to spread 15 yards of Hemlock bark mulch around the property.
Looks like it’s raining down in Mendocino County and headed this way. Where do you buy the bark mulch and what does it cost? Fir bark is $58.00 a yard fob here in Benderville and did Mr Mole Hill tell you I had high score yesterday...
Red Hemlock costs $30.00 per yard + delivery charge. We got ours from “Best in the West”; most nursery places here offer and deliver different kinds of mulch. I like Hemlock as it doesn’t have those minute splinters you get on and between your fingers. I was going to say that if you want to brag with a high score of 314 so be it but the truth is I’ve been having trouble breaking 200 lately.
Our upper 80’s heat wave is over. Back to clear skies and mid 70’s.
