Here’s a nice, inexpensive Leupold:

I don’t know about Barska but Bushnell is pretty good.
Barska makes a few good, solid short/medium-range rifle scopes, but none HD enough to hand my Barrett, Beowulf or AR-10s.
Here’s their spotting units, which I’m not familiar with:

That’s a nice little scope.
6mmbr has a good write-up on high end spotting scopes.

That little Russian scope looks ideal for a quick trip to the range. I’d probably just keep it in my car.
Starting to nod-off. Time to sign-off. Have a good week, everyone, and watch your SIX... ‘nite.
This link should keep you busy for a while.

I’ve bought from them before. Good folks to deal with.
It would be interesting to see the actual difference between the Bushnell Trophy and the Leupold Ventana.

Thanks
‘nite C_H - thanks for droppin by
A little more power would be nice, but that one looks pretty good.
I should probably get a small cheap scope for short range shooting and a more expensive, bigger one for longer range stuff.
Sorry I missed the thread.
Honey Dews dontcha know.
I got to shoot a PS90 yesterday. Sweeet!
I just heard on the radio that they’re going to start jury selection in the Geo Zimmerman trial tomorrow. Where in FL or anywhere else can that guy get an unbiased jury.
Like shooting a 10/22 only a little louder? Do you know what load you shot? Sweet ain’t it? 2400 fps on some rounds.
Zimmerman is funked. This may go all the way up to fed court for prosecutorial malfeasance.
definitely louder than a 10/22
I thought all the civilian loads were pretty much the same.
Green Tip loads are 2400fps and you can buy them on Gunbroker at the low low price $100+ for a box. Not just civilian as I know, or are regulated there.
Thanks Frog!
I just got home.
More pics to come, so stay tuned.
Even though it says “Live Thread” most folks do not post pics from the shoot.
Network coverage was spotty, editing software is on the home PC’s etc.
Next year will be in the Seagoville, Wilmer/Hutchins area on the Trinity river, prolly end of Oct.
We are looking at cabins in Canton, Gun Barrel City or Waxahachie.
I was driving the Boss around Tx.
