Origin: 1645–55; orig. the kind of speech often heard at Billingsgate, a London fish market at the gate of the same name

Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

You’re kidding, right? You’ve seen Bertuzzi is still wearing a uniform. I know Erik’s team wasn’t sure it wasn’t deliberate. The point is, he should have been run out of the league a long time ago. Who else gets that many chances, unless you’re a democrat?
