Dodgers and D-backs fight in bench-clearing brawl

LOS ANGELES - As soon as Yasiel Puig went sprawling to the ground after getting drilled in the face by an Ian Kennedy fastball, it was on between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks.

Not only was it on, but it got ugly fast.

Interesting. The last time the Tigers got in a brawl was when Tram was managing.

I love Trammel but he gets thrown out of more games than any manager I’ve ever seen.

It was the D-backs who bean-balled. Grienke retaliated with a pitch to the middle of the torso. Then the D-back pitcher threw at Grienke’s head.

I didn’t see the whole thing. It’s not enough to warn after someone has thrown at the head, I think.

You don’t hit players in the shoulder or head area. The DBack pitcher should have been tossed the first time. He deserved a butt kicking the 2nd time.

D-Backs pitcher Kennedy was nowhere to be found in the brawl after hitting two guys in the head.

I know he was kicked out, but I never saw a guy leave so quickly.
