Sounds like some of the shops are nearly as clueless as some of the legislators. 9mm equal to the effectiveness of a .45 or .40? The larger the gun the more velocity of the round? Maybe the writer misunderstood some of the info provided. Barrel length/velocity.

Really? Really are the reporters that clueless? Size of the gun has nothing to do with velocity. It’s the bullet and load.

With modern hollow points, good ones expand 50% such as my Hornady critical defense.

That means a 9mm (.355) is actually .5325, larger than .45 ACP.
