Someone was pretty clever when they confused the public perception of "global warming" with "climate change." They realized the "warming" con couldn't keep working. But climate change! Aha! The climate has been in a constant flux of change for Earth's 4.5 billion year existence. Propaganda gold! Any change, warming or cooling, could somehow be attributed to human (read American) industrialization.
It’s like an old side-show trick where you get the suckers to hand over whatever the charge(10 cents, a quarter, a buck or whatever) to see ‘’the worlds smallest giant’’ and the worlds largest midget’’.

The article reads "A new, unpublished finding that the polar "jet stream" is slowing down provides compelling evidence of a link between rapidly melting Arctic sea ice and colder winters across the northern hemisphere and other extreme weather"
It is 100% bullshit. I need not go into why a sea ice boundary change makes no difference to the weather, people here know that weather is weather. But I might need to remind the folks that the models predicted the opposite although around 2005 there were some speculative and poorly supported results in the other direction. Essentially models and simple science say that Arctic warming and stratospheric cooling, two of the pillars of CO2 warming theory, will lead to a stronger polar jet with less wavering.
